Samsung just announced the new Galaxy S26 lineup at an Unpacked event, and if you are wondering what’s new in the new 2026 lineup – here is everything you need to know!

Privacy Display in Galaxy S26 Ultra
Showcased for the first time back in 2024, the futuristic technology developed by Samsung will be included in a smartphone! Privacy display will make the display visible only for you, while others will see just a black screen. It could be automatically activated in special situations – like when you open your banking app.
Improved Cameras in Galaxy S26 Ultra
Cameras aren’t the big new thing in the S26 lineup, yet the rear cameras are upgraded with new, wider sensors that let in more light. Simply said, this will noticeably improve night photographs. Another improvement is the new image processing, which uses the maximum of what the camera captured.
Horizontal Lock
The new S26 lineup extends stabilization capabilities with its new Horizontal Lock feature, which uses gyro and acceleration sensors.
Better Selfies
An upgraded AI image signal processor (ISP) stays true to your natural skin tone and captures small details like hair and eyebrows.
The First Phones With a 2nm Chipset (Base & Plus models)
In the US, the three models will come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the base and plus models will feature the new Exynos 2600 chipset in some markets. The new Exynos chipset is the first one with a 2nm chip ever included in a phone.
New AI Features
All new models come with exciting new AI-powered features such as Photo Assist. It takes photo editing to the next level, allowing you to do much more than just remove an object from a photo.
Another AI-powered feature is the Creative Studio – a space to create sticker sets out of your images or imagination. There are also Now Nudge, Now Brief, Finder, and more.
