Samsung’s 2026 roadmap is shaping up to be one of its most ambitious yet. From next-generation Galaxy smartphones and evolving foldables to experimental form factors like rollable displays and AI-powered wearables, the company is clearly thinking beyond incremental upgrades.

Rather than focusing on a single headline device, Samsung appears to be building a connected ecosystem where phones, foldables, wearables, displays, and AI all work together to define what “next-gen” Galaxy tech really means. So, let’s explore all the exciting new tech gadgets Samsung plans to release in 2026.

Watch the video:

Galaxy S26 Lineup

The Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to include the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and a heavily upgraded S26 Ultra. However, plans for an Edge model appear uncertain, and it is unlikely that the S26 Edge will see the light of day.

The standard Galaxy S26 is rumored to grow slightly to a 6.3-inch display, while the base S26 and S26 Plus are expected to come with a better battery. All three models are expected to finally introduce Qi2 support, making MagSafe accessories snap to S26 backs.

All phones from the S26 lineup will come with new chipsets, in two versions depending on the region. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will be found in North America, while most of the other countries will get the new Samsung’s own Exynos 2600. Usually, Exynos feels like a downgrade, but the new Exynos 2600 is the first in the world to be made on 2nm technology, so it could be even more powerful and power efficient than the new Snapdragon – this is something we will test after release.

Samsung’s flagship, Galaxy S26 Ultra, is expected to introduce a new privacy-focused display, limiting side-angle visibility, alongside camera upgrades like a wider-aperture 200MP main sensor and a higher-resolution 3x telephoto. There’s also growing chatter about Ultra-exclusive Galaxy AI features, potentially marking the first tiering of Samsung’s AI tools.

The new models will be announced at the Unpacked event on February 25th, but pricing is still uncertain. While base models could hold the line, rising component and memory costs could push the Ultra beyond its current premium territory. The new S26 lineup will come to the stores on the 11th of March.

New Samsung TVs

The most premium Samsung TV models were shown at CES 2026, but the details are limited for now.

The centerpiece of the lineup is the Samsung S95H, the brand’s new OLED flagship. It introduces a redesigned metal frame and delivers up to 30% higher brightness than its predecessor, reinforcing Samsung’s lead in punchy OLED visuals.

Samsung is also expanding its OLED family with the S99H, S90H, and S85H, covering sizes from compact 42-inch panels up to massive 83-inch models. Higher-end variants push refresh rates as high as 165Hz, keeping Samsung firmly focused on high-frame-rate gaming and next-gen consoles, even if some specs are still under wraps.

Beyond OLED, Samsung’s long-term display vision becomes more obvious. The company teased new RGB-based LED TVs, including the MR95H, which scales all the way up to a jaw-dropping 130 inches. These are some of the most exciting ones, integrating the latest MicroRGB advancements by Samsung Display. Most of the models will become available in March.

Galaxy Z TriFold Worldwide Launch

Samsung’s boldest foldable experiment yet, the Galaxy Z TriFold, is finally poised for a broader global rollout in 2026. The triple-folding device has already launched in select markets like South Korea, but a wider release(including the U.S.) is still pending.

The TriFold stands out with its multi-panel folding design, transforming from a phone into a tablet-sized DeX-running canvas built for multitasking and productivity.

Based on its Korean pricing, the Galaxy Z TriFold could land between $2,400 and $2,500 in the US, making it Samsung’s most expensive consumer phone to date. If launched globally, it would signal Samsung’s confidence that foldables are ready to move beyond niche status.

The Freestyle+

The new Freestyle+ projector was shown at CES 2026 and impresses with a brighter image, powered by new AI OptiScreen technology. Using AI, the projector automatically compensates for uneven surfaces, wall colors, and lighting conditions to maintain accurate visuals wherever it’s placed. It is expected to come globally in the first half of 2026.

Galaxy Fold 8

Samsung’s next-generation foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, is expected to arrive in summer 2026(June/July), and early rumors suggest a familiar design paired with meaningful internal upgrades. Reports point to a slightly larger and brighter inner display and further crease reduction. Power is expected to come from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but it’s also possible to see the new Exynos 2600 chipset. Battery life could finally see a noticeable boost, with leaks suggesting a jump to around 5,000 mAh.

Galaxy Flip 8

Samsung is expected to stick closely to the refined design introduced with the Flip 7, so you can expect a familiar clamshell look with subtle refinements rather than visible design changes.

Under the hood, the Flip 8 may continue Samsung’s shift toward in-house silicon, potentially powered by the Exynos 2600. Battery life could see a modest improvement, while software upgrades and AI-driven features will likely play a bigger role in making the Flip 8 feel new, even if it looks largely the same. Alongside Galaxy Z Flip 8, the company might introduce its next-gen fan edition of the foldable – Galaxy Z Flip 8 FE.

Rollable Smartphone

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Roll is one of the most-awaited phones Samsung has ever made! While the company has been exploring the technology for more than 5 years, there haven’t released any final products yet. But as the rumors become stronger and competitors fight to release the first in the world “Rollable smartphone”, Samsung is definitely planning to release such a product soon – hopefully this year.

Latest rumors point to a late-2026 debut, with a motorized screen that expands from a smartphone into a tablet-like canvas, potentially reaching over 12 inches when fully extended.

On the hardware side, the Galaxy Z Roll is expected to sit firmly at the ultra-premium end. Leaks suggest flagship-grade performance with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600, up to 16GB of RAM, and a massive battery to power the expanding screen. If Samsung delivers even close to what’s rumored, the Galaxy Z Roll won’t just be another Galaxy device – it could open a whole new world of rollable devices.

Galaxy Glasses

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Glasses are expected to debut by the end of 2026. While phones aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, smart glasses are arising as the potential smartphone replacement – they can handle navigation, messaging, calls, quick searches, and AI assistance. Samsung reportedly plans two different Galaxy Glasses models, with the first leaning closer to Meta’s Ray-Ban approach and a more advanced version pushing deeper into AR territory.

Of course, AI will be the centerpiece. Built around Gemini and Samsung’s growing Galaxy AI ecosystem, Galaxy Glasses are expected to offer ambient, always-available intelligence. To keep the glasses lightweight, Samsung may rely on distributed processing, sharing workloads with nearby Galaxy devices like a Watch, Ring, or phone, effectively creating a phone-light experience rather than a full replacement on day one.

Design may matter just as much as capability. Unlike bulky XR headsets, Galaxy Glasses are expected to prioritize wearability and style, aiming to look like normal eyewear rather than a sci-fi prop. The smart glasses by Samsung were first expected in 2025, but since the company delayed them, we really hope to see these two smart glasses models by the end of 2026.

Music Studio 5 & Studio 7

Designed in collaboration with acclaimed French designer Erwan Bouroullec, Music Studio 5 and Studio 7 are new Wi-Fi speakers that treat sound and aesthetics as equal priorities. It was showcased in January, while the release date is expected in the first half of 2026.

Galaxy Tab S12 Lineup

The Galaxy Tab S12 lineup is expected in August-September 2026, but there are no details available about potential new features and improvements. It is expected to be available in two models – standard and ultra, similar to the Galaxy Tab S11.

What not to expect?

Samsung Ballie is one of these devices we have been waiting to see for years now – and while the company promised its release in 2025, it recently turned out it is now planned as an internal robot for the company (to test products and experiment).

Galaxy Ring 2 is another exciting gadget we hope to see this year, but the recent news sounds really negative for the new smart ring. The lawsuits between Samsung and Oura might delay the upcoming smart ring, or even shut the whole project down. Of course, we still could see Galaxy Ring 2, if the lawsuits are over soon in a good way for Samsung. But we will see.

Having in mind that Samsung is still preparing to launch its first Trifold smartphone globally, it is nonsense to expect its successor anytime soon.

Final Words

Samsung’s upcoming 2026 lineup proves Samsung is preparing for the future – with experimental new devices beyond traditional smartphones. The Galaxy S26 series refines the flagship formula, foldables like the Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 focus on usability and maturity, while experimental devices such as Galaxy Roll and Galaxy Glasses hint at where mobile computing could be headed next. Samsung isn’t just planning its next launch cycle – it’s laying the groundwork for the next era of consumer tech.
