At its 2026 Spring Product Launch Event, Apple rolled out a wave of hardware updates across nearly its entire lineup. From refreshed MacBooks powered by the new M5 chips to an upgraded iPhone 17e and revamped Studio Displays, the company focused on performance gains, higher base storage, and covering the next-gen connectivity standards like Wi-Fi 7.

The scale of the releases makes this one of Apple’s most comprehensive refresh cycles in recent years. Let’s see what’s new:

iPhone 17e

iPhone 17e

Apple’s new entry-level iPhone keeps the price at $599 but upgrades the internals. The iPhone 17e features the A19 chip, MagSafe support with 15W charging, and double the base storage at 256GB. It also introduces a new Soft Pink color alongside black and white.

While it still comes with a notch(instead of a dynamic island) and has slightly slower MagSafe speeds, it delivers strong value for users who want the Apple experience without premium pricing. Battery life remains rated at 26 hours, making it a dependable daily driver.

iPad Air

The new iPad Air is now powered by Apple’s M4 chip and comes with 12GB of RAM, bringing it closer than ever to Pro-level performance. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and 5G via the N1 and C1X modems.

Starting at $599 (11-inch) and $799 (13-inch), the update focuses on performance rather than design changes. Colors remain the same, but the M4 boost makes this a serious productivity and creative machine for its price tier.

MacBook Air

Apple refreshed the MacBook Air with the new M5 chip, faster SSDs, Wi-Fi 7, and 512GB of starting storage. The base price is now $1,099, reflecting the doubled storage and performance gains. This update makes the Air more future-proof, especially for users who want thin-and-light portability without sacrificing power.

MacBook Pro

The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models now run on M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, built on a new Fusion Architecture that combines two dies into one powerful system. Apple claims up to 30% better performance in pro workflows.

Notably, base storage now starts at 1TB, and high-end configurations are slightly cheaper than their M4 predecessors. These machines are clearly aimed at creators, developers, and power users who demand maximum performance.

Studio Display

The updated Studio Display keeps its 27-inch format with 5K resolution, but adds a 12MP Center Stage camera, Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, and an improved speaker system with deeper bass.

Studio Display XDR

Replacing the Pro Display XDR, the new Studio Display XDR features a mini-LED backlight, 2,000 nits peak HDR brightness, and 120Hz ProMotion. At $3,299 (stand included), it dramatically lowers the barrier to Apple’s high-end display ecosystem. This is Apple’s new flagship monitor for creative professionals who need color accuracy and impressive brightness.

MacBook Neo

New Affordable MacBook Neo

The star of the night – After years of rumors, Apple officially introduced the MacBook Neo – its most affordable laptop ever. It starts from just $599, making it a great option for students and those looking for a device for simple tasks. Unlike the rest of the Mac lineup, it runs on the A18 processor(the chip used in iPhone 16), and is not designed to compete with the MacBook Air or Pro in raw power.

To reach this aggressive price point, Apple made a few key compromises: a less detailed display, shorter battery life, no Touch ID in the 256GB version, and no backlight keyboard. Still, at 2.7 pounds, it matches the Air in portability and features a colorful aluminum chassis that feels anything but budget.

From tablets to laptops and iPhones, Apple completely changed its portfolio all at once! While some of the new products are just refinements, others open new perspectives. Wonder what’s next? Apple plans many more new devices in 2026 – check them out.
