Smart rings are quietly becoming the most exciting type of wearable tech, and 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for them, packed with advancements. From ambitious newcomers pushing the limits of sensor technology to major brands refining their ecosystems and fighting for dominance, the next wave of smart rings promises exciting new improvements and features!

Here are the most exciting new smart rings expected to arrive in 2026, and why we can’t wait to get them on our fingers.

Watch the video:

1. Cudis Sporty

Cudis has run a Kickstarter campaign for its new smart ring, which was quite successful. Now, the innovative smart ring is close to release! In our exclusive interview with CUDIS CEO, he confirmed that the smart ring will be delivered in June 2026, while the official release will happen after that.

It’s the first customizable and interchangeable smart ring, and it will integrate the latest developments by the company. This includes a new proactive personal AI coach, recovery-related scores and algos, women’s health management system, and more.

    2. Bond Ring Evo

The Bond Ring Evo is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious smart rings we’ll see in 2026, and it’s clear this isn’t just another health tracker trying to follow trends. Built by WilderTech, the Bond Ring Evo is all about pushing the limits of wearable technology – from advanced vital sign sensors to cutting-edge materials and electronics normally reserved for aerospace, medical devices, and high-performance vehicles.

This ring is positioned as a next-generation awareness device, focusing not just on tracking data, but on doing it with extreme precision and efficiency. It’s the world’s first smart ring with Infineon’s SECORA X tap-and-pay, and adds Bosch’s ultra-efficient motion and pressure sensors, as well as medical-grade sensors from AMS OSRAM. The first Bond Ring Evo rings start shipping between March 20 and April 30, 2026, while a wider release will follow in late 2026.

    3. Aivela Ring Pro

The Aivela Ring Pro is one of those rare Kickstarter projects that actually feels real. With over $500,000 raised, Aivela has quickly become one of the most talked-about new smart rings heading into 2026. At its core, it’s a full-featured health and wellness ring, tracking heart rate, SpO₂, sleep, stress, and temperature trends – all with subscription-free AI experience.

The standout feature here is gesture control, allowing you to use your finger as a controller – to swipe, scroll, control music, or trigger your phone’s camera. On top of that, it’s built-in AI health companion delivers daily insights in short voice summaries. The innovative smart ring was showcased at CES 2026, and we can’t wait to hear more about its release date.

    4. Samsung Galaxy Ring 2

The Galaxy Ring 2 is easily one of the most anticipated smart rings of 2026 – but unfortunately, it is also the most uncertain. While Samsung launched its first Galaxy Ring in the summer of 2024, there was no follow-up in 2025, and now the future of its successor heavily depends on Samsung’s ongoing legal battle with Oura. With lawsuits flying on both sides and potential sales bans being discussed, Samsung appears to be rethinking its smart ring strategy before fully committing to a second-generation model.

That said, expectations for the Galaxy Ring 2 are huge. Rumors point to a slimmer design, expanded size options, bigger battery life thanks to the first-ever solid battery in consumer tech, and a new body temperature sensor that could offer early illness detection. Deeper gesture controls, tighter Galaxy ecosystem integration, and a major AI upgrade for health insights are also expected. Don’t expect the device to come in the first half of 2026, but more likely in late 2026, of course, depending on the lawsuits.

    5. RingConn Gen 3

While RingConn Gen 3 hasn’t been officially announced yet, it’s one of the most expected smart rings for 2026 – and for good reason. RingConn has quietly built a strong reputation with its Gen 2 ring by offering advanced health tracking with no monthly subscription. With great battery life, reliable sleep and stress tracking, skin temperature monitoring, and sleep apnea detection, RingConn has already proven it can compete with much bigger names.

Looking ahead, the upcoming RingConn Gen 3 model would come with smarter AI insights, improved workout detection, and deeper habit analysis. RingConn’s App 3.0, which already includes an AI Health Partner, feels like a preview of what’s coming next. The high-end ring was showcased at CES 2026, yet the official release date has not been announced. The showcased Gen 3 ring introduces haptics and blood pressure insights, while the other features are under wraps.

    What More To Expect?

The smart ring market is no longer experimental – it’s competitive, ambitious, and evolving fast. With brands like Bond and Aivela challenging the bigger players, RingConn doubling down on subscription-free tracking, and Samsung navigating legal battles to define its next move, 2026 could be the year smart rings truly go mainstream.

Of course, we don’t expect the other players to just stay and watch – an affordable ring from Oura is a possible new product we expect to see soon, while the flagship Oura Ring 5 is scheduled for 2027. One thing is for sure – next-generation smart rings shift from passive tracking to active, becoming intelligent wearables that don’t just collect data, but help you act on it through AI, gestures, and ecosystem-level integrations. If these upcoming launches deliver on their promises, smart rings may soon become one of the most essential pieces of personal tech we wear every day. And honestly… We’re just getting started.
