Nothing’s popular mid-range phones got upgraded! The design-focused company introduced its new Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro, and a more affordable Nothing Headphones model, called Headphone A.
The company’s CEO, Carl Pei, said we won’t see a new Nothing flagship in 2026; instead, we can expect highly improved successors to the midrange models. And honestly – yes, there are tons of improvements, especially in the Pro version!
So, let’s take a look at the brand new Nothing phones and headphones:
1. Nothing Phone 4a

The Phone 4a evolves Nothing’s signature translucent look with fresh colors (white, pink, black, and blue) and a redesigned, brighter “Glyph Bar” that now runs in a straight line beside the camera module. It adds IP64 dust and water resistance and upgrades durability with Gorilla Glass 7i. Camera improvements are significant, including a new 50MP tetraprism periscope lens capable of 3.5x optical zoom and up to 70x ultra zoom.
Phone 4a Specs
- Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, 4,500 nits peak brightness
- Processor: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
- Battery: 5,080mAh
- Cameras: 50MP wide (improved light intake), 50MP tetraprism periscope, ultra-wide, 32MP selfie
- Protection: Gorilla Glass 7i
- Software: Nothing OS 4.1 (Android 16)
- Updates: 3 years Android, 6 years security patches
2. Nothing Phone 4a Pro

The Phone 4a Pro introduces the biggest design shift yet. The translucent back is gone…(dramatic pause)… It’s replaced by a sleek metal unibody in black, silver, or pink. It’s Nothing’s slimmest phone so far and features the Glyph Matrix interface(like Nothing Phone 4). Durability improves with IP65 water resistance, and the display pushes brightness to 5,000 nits with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its periscope camera now supports the stunning 140x zoom(first in the world phone to reach such zoom levels).
Phone 4a Pro Specs
- Display: 6.83-inch AMOLED, 144Hz, 5,000 nits peak brightness
- Processor: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
- Battery: 5,080mAh (up to 17 hours use)
- Cameras: 50MP wide, 50MP periscope (140x zoom), ultra-wide, 32MP selfie

3. Nothing Headphone (a)

Compared to the premium Nothing Headphone (1), the Headphone (a) keep the same tactile controls and adaptive ANC but come in at a much lower price. What’s missing? The more premium build materials and high-end positioning of the Headphone (1). The focus here is value, color variety, and battery life.
